THE driver of a Volkswagen Golf was stopped in Bingley yesterday, after the driver was found to be uninsured.
The driver was within two years of passing her test, meaning she can expect to revert to being a provisional licence holder folloing the offence, police said.
The passenger - who was the owner of the car and was insured - was then lawfully allowed to drive away.
The news was tweeted by West Yorkshire Police's Steerside Enforcement Team last night.
