A DRIVER has been charged with drink driving after speeding on Bingley Bypass.
The driver of the Volvo was stopped by police for exceeding the speed limit, before failing a roadside breath test.
The news was tweeted by a Twitter account belonging to PC Claire Gray, of the West Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Unit, just before 2pm today.
The full tweet reads:
Shipley: I sighted this vehicle speeding on the Bingley Bypass and stopped to speak with the driver. The driver also failed a roadside breath test and has now been charge for drink driving and reported for speeding. #WYPTHECOST #fatal4 #team5 #operationalsupport pic.twitter.com/ycqaglWxQs
