A Latvian man appeared before Bradford magistrates, charged with the murder of a 41-year-old man at a house in Bradford.
Nikolay Bobrov, 25, is accused of murdering Oskars Luksevics, who was found stabbed to death at the terraced property in Parsonage Road, Bradford, early on Sunday.
He also faces a separate charge of causing grievous bodily harm with intent against another person.
There was no application for bail by Bobrov's solicitor and he was committed in custody by magistrates to next appear at Bradford Crown Court on Thursday, December 6. Reporting restrictions were not lifted.
Two men and two women had also been questioned by detectives in connection with the death of Mr Luksevics, who was also a Latvian. They were released without charge today.
