THE fiancée of Shipley MP Philip Davies has lifted the lid on the changes to their wedding day plans due to the coronavirus crisis.
Mr Davies is due to marry fellow Conservative MP Esther McVey next month, despite the restrictions placed on the number of guests permitted at ceremonies due to the pandemic.
Ms McVey has taken to social media to record a lighthearted video, called #AVeryCovidWedding, where she has shared plans for their new-look big day.

She jokes she wanted a big gospel choir for their wedding day but that has had to go now because its members would have taken up the total allowance for guest allowed to attend.
She says now only close family and friends will now be attending, cutting up a few sheets of paper with original names on for the guestlist.
She said: “You wait 52 years to get married and along comes coronavirus.
“I said to Philip ‘maybe the big guy in the sky is trying to tell us something?’ “’Maybe it’s a lucky escape; but Philip doesn’t always get my dark sense of humour.”
