A BRADFORD man has been presented with the chain of office for the Rotary Club of Bradford Blaize, taking over from the club's retiring president.
Muhammad Atif, who is an independent financial adviser and has been a Rotarian for 12 years, was handed the chain by his wife, Uzma.
In normal circumstances, it would have been presented by retiring president David Burrows, but the club has had to adapt, with weekly meetings now taking place on Zoom.
The club, which was formed in 1981 and is non-political and non-religious, raised £900 for Marie Curie before lockdown, and has also donated to food banks and given 250 dictionaries to underprivileged children in Bradford over recent times.
