POLICE chased and then blocked in a van which was carrying more than £150,000 worth of tobacco.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit (RPU) spotted the white van this morning.
It was on cloned plates.
Police decided to go with a "Tactical Pursuit And Containment" (TPAC) to stop the vehicle.
They were helped by the National Police Air Service (NPAS) North East Region helicopter with the tactic.
Officers searched the van to find there was £157,000 worth of tobacco in it.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said enquiries are ongoing with West Yorkshire Trading Standards.
