THE Great Yorkshire Chorus is bringing a smile to people's faces using the power of music.
The choir, based in Saltaire, has come together virtually to sing Carole King's much loved song, You've Got A Friend.
Recording the song digitally was described as a "real challenge" by Maria Mullin, choir director of the Great Yorkshire Chorus.
But the video is now complete for everyone to enjoy.
Maria told the Telegraph & Argus: "We chose this beautiful Carole King song as we all need each other in a time like this. It reflects the wonderful community spirit within our choir and we hope it will inspire others to be a friend to someone else in these difficult days.
"Recording it was a real challenge as all the choir members had to do so at home by themselves - something most of them have never done before. But it was really special to share the experience in a time when we are really missing being able to sing together in person.
"We hope it brings a little bit of joy to people."
