THERE was an unusual 'traffic jam' in a village this morning which was absolutely quackers.

Paul Whitehead was on his way to work at Bradford Royal Infirmary (BRI) when he spotted a gaggle of geese wandering down the road, in Eldwick.

The group included two adults and five fluffy, little goslings.

Mr Whitehead took two snaps of the geese at around 6.45am.

He said: "It put a smile on my face in these difficult times."

It is unclear as to whether the bill checked if the group's journey was essential, but they managed to keep on the right side of the road.

Wildlife has been thriving right across the country, and world, during the lockdown - creeping into locations that would usually be inhabited by throngs of people.
