A PAIR of soccer stars are gearing up to take part in an online KFC-inspired cook off.

After Love Island stars Chris and Kem kicked off the KFC Clash series this week, football legends Jimmy Bullard and Paul Merson are up next on Tuesday, April 28.

Viewers will be able to vote for who is crowned the ultimate chicken champion and get involved from home, cooking along with the recipes.

Hyped to be just as competitive as any UFC (Ultimate Fried Chicken) fight, the series will be streaming live on KFC’s UKI Instagram every Tuesday night for the next three weeks, with each contender battling for your vote by recreating an iconic KFC dish.

For each battle, KFC will be donating to Comic Relief. Through their existing partnership, which began in 2019, KFC donates 5p of every bucket sold to Comic Relief, with additional money being raised through team member fundraising.

Together with Comic Relief, KFC is aiming to raise £3million by 2022 in a bid to help organisations in local communities in the UK provide mentoring, employment and social skills for young people.

New names will be revealed very soon so keep an eye out and make sure you tune in to @KFC_UKI’s Instagram at 6.30pm every Tuesday for the next three weeks to witness the fried chicken feuds unfold.
