BRADFORD West MP Naz Shah says she’s honoured with her new appointment within the Labour party.
Ms Shah has been named as Shadow Minister for Community Cohesion in Labour Leader, Sir Keir Starmer’s, new-look frontbench.
She tweeted: “It’s a huge honour to announce that I will be joining Keir Starmer’s frontbench in Steve Reed MP’s Shadow Communities and Local Government team as Shadow Minister for Community Cohesion.”
News of Ms Shah’s appointment comes after Bradford East MP Imran Hussain was named Labour’s Shadow Employment Rights Minister.
