THE death toll from coronavirus in the Bradford district has risen by four.
Public Health England announced today that there had been four new reported deaths of people who tested positive for the COVID-19 virus - two at the Bradford Royal Infirmary (BRI) and two at Airedale General Hospital.
This data is correct as of 5pm on Tuesday, April 7.
Of the deaths at the BRI, one was on April 6 and the other was on April 7.
And at Airedale General, both people died on April 6.
This means the number of reported deaths for the district now stands at 43 - 25 at the BRI and 18 at Airedale.
In Yorkshire and the North East, a further 101 people with Covid-19 died.
Across England, there were a further 828 reported deaths, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 6,483.
Patients were aged between 22 and 103 years old.
Forty six of the 828 patients, who were aged between 35 and 96 years old, had no known underlying health condition.
