BRADFORD Cathedral is holding its annual Lent Course in March, this year on the subject of pilgrimage.
Led by Canon Andrew Tawn (pictured), Director of Clergy Development and one of the cathedral’s honorary canons, it is a rich theme, and can be taken both literally and metaphorically.
Canon Tawn: “We will be looking at what makes places holy, and spiritual journeys through the Bible, through the liturgy, and through our personal lives.”
The course takes place over three Wednesday evenings, beginning on Wednesday, March 11, with Holy Ways and Sacred Places, and with This is His Story: This is Our Story and A journey into the heart of the love of God following on March 18 and 25.
Each evening begins with refreshments at 6.30pm before the course begins at 7pm. There will be spoken night prayer following at 8.15pm. All are welcome to attend.
