A 25-YEAR-OLD man has pleaded guilty to the murder of a former Bradford resident, 57-year-old Vera Hudson.
Mark Jewitt, of Constable Street, Hull, appeared via video link at Grimsby Crown Court on Thursday and pleaded guilty.
Officers were called to Constable Street shortly after 7.30am on Thursday, September 19, 2019. The body of a woman was found at the address and a murder investigation commenced. Jewitt was charged last September with the offence.
Humberside Police's Senior Investigating Officer in the case, Detective Chief Inspector Phil Gadd said: “I would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved with this case. The public answered our appeal last year and provided information that supported our investigation. This thorough investigation has brought about the plea this morning.”
Jewitt will be sentenced at Hull Crown Court on Thursday, March 12.
