THE BRITISH Heart Foundation (BHF) has appointed a new Fundraising Manager for West Yorkshire, to continue its fight against heart and circulatory disease.
Ellie Barker, who will manage community partnerships in Bradford, said: “Heart disease is heartless. Many lives are lost each year and we’re determined to do everything we can to protect more families from it.
“By supporting the BHF, through volunteering or holding fundraising events, you will help us fund the research needed to bring us closer to beating heart disease."
Around 58,400 people across Bradford are fighting heart and circulatory disease. Through the public's generosity, the BHF will fund half a billion pounds of new research over the next five years.
