A BRADFORD-BORN footballer is believed to be in a serious conditon in hospital this evening.
Jordan Sinnott - son of former Bantam Lee Sinnott - is reportedly on a life support machine.
Earlier today, Halifax Town tweeted that Sinnott had died - prompting tributes to the player on social media.

Details of the circumstances will be released in due course.

Halifax posted the following message on their Twitter page: "We’ve received terrible news that our former player Jordan Sinnott has passed away.
"The circumstances are not clear and we’ll not be commenting further out of respect to Jordan’s family.
"Our deepest condolences go to Jordan’s family at this extremely difficult time."
This led to further reports that had indicated he had died.
Huddersfield Town tweeted: "Everyone at Huddersfield Town is devastated to hear of the loss of #Academy graduate Jordan Sinnott."
Sinnott had been playing in Derbyshire and had been on loan to Matlock Town FC from Alfreton Town FC since August.
Matlock's official Twitter account tweeted: "Due to tragic and unforeseen circumstances, today's away game against Mickleover Sports is postponed The club will be making no further comment at this time but will release an official statement in due course."
Alfreton's match against Gateshead was also called off.
Chairman of Alfreton Town FC Wayne Bradley posted on Twitter:""Life has an ability to throw up many tests........ it is just not a day to attempt to play football. Sorry everyone."
However, further reports this evening have indicated that the player is, in fact, seriously ill in hospital.
It is claimed he has suffered a fractured skull and is on life-support but the circumstances are still unclear.
We will update this story as it develops.
