BRADFORD-BORN singer Zayn Malik is believed to have donated £10,000 to a five-year-old cancer sufferer in need of potentially lifesaving treatment.
In May 2018, mum-of-two Helen Robinson noticed a bruise next to her infant daughter's eye and took Caitlin to Burnley General Hospital.
What was initially thought to be her 'eye growing' turned out to be a high risk form of cancer neuroblastoma.
In the time since her diagnosis, Caitlin has now been through 40 rounds of chemotherapy and meta-iodobenzylguanidine (MIBG) therapy.
Mum Helen said: "None of them has worked. I need to raise money to get my daughter abroad to Barcelona for life saving treatment which is not avaliable in the UK on NHS. Please, please help save my daughter."
Now Helen is looking to raise £150,000 to take Caitlin to Barcelona for potentially lifesaving treatment.
But on Tuesday (January 21) the campaign was given a huge boost after a £10,000 donation was submitted to Helen's GoFundMe page under the name of Zayn Malik.
24-year-old Helen said she was totally shocked at discovering the donation.
Helen told the Telegraph & Argus: "I just went on in the morning, it was £10 off two grand and it said £10,000.
"I'm really grateful to everyone that's donated and it's hopefully raising the money that we need."
