A BRADFORD scheme was greeted by film crews from the BBC on Saturday.
Dr Kuldip Kaur Bharj OBE, president of Bolton Road's Ramgarhia Gurdwara, explained how the Sikh community who attend the temple and the Yorkshire Dales-based charity Friends of the Dales teamed up last year to improve integration between different groups.
"The Sikh community worked with Friends of the Dales and part-funded a bus from Bradford to Grassington", Dr Kuldip explains, "which ran every Saturday from April to October.
"It made it more accessible not just for Sikhs, but for BAME people in general to get out to the Dales, be healthy and to meet different people. The communities in the Dales don't really get to mix with ethnic minorities so it was nice for us all to meet."
On Saturday, a bus left the Gurdwara for Bolton Abbey, as film crews followed.
