POLICE have taken a driver off the road who was almost double the legal drink-drive limit.
Officers stopped the vehicle on the M62, near Scammonden, in the early hours of this morning.
It was spotted at around 12:58pm.
The driver gave a road-side breath specimen.
The reading was 69 micrograms.
This is almost double the legal limit of 35 micrograms.
West Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Unit Officer, "Traffic Dave", posted about the incident on Twitter.
He said: "Another 'Drink Driver' off the roads of West Yorkshire tonight.
"Roadside breath specimen of 69 micrograms provided; legal limit being 35 micrograms."
