AN independent chocolate shop and cafe in Bradford city centre is closing its doors.

Family-run La Fronda, in the Wool Exchange on Market Street, is closing tomorrow (December 31).

It opened in the old Thornton’s unit on Market Street at the end of 2017, but moved further down in August in order to open a Middle Eastern coffee lounge on the upper floor.

It was known for its range of delights and delicacies including chocolates, dates, baklava, Turkish delight, plus Turkish tea and coffee.

While the shop is closing, it will still be selling products online.

A post on social media said the closure was down to a "combination of things".
