A COTTAGE in Idle has been badly damaged in a fire which spread to two adjacent properties.
Six fire crews attended the blaze in the terraced house in Stansfield Place, off Westfield Lane, at about 6am today.
The fire spread across to neighbouring homes by the roof.
There was a report of persons being involved in the incident but West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said that after a thorough search all persons were accounted for.
On arrival crews made the incident pumps six due to compromised access.
Three large jets, four breathing apparatus and four hose reels were used to tackle the blaze.
The cause under investigation.
The incident was attended by crews from Shipley, two from Bradford, Rawdon. Stanningley and Fairweather Green.
