A THIRD phase of new homes has been announced for a housing development.

The Hutton Hall new-build scheme, in Eccleshill off Victoria Road, began back in Autumn 2018.

Phase Two took the tally of total homes at the plot to 18, with planning permission available for 29.

Those buildings, a cluster of two and three-bedroom houses, were completed in November this year.

Hutton Hall is a joint venture between Gregory Property Group and Robinson Developments.

Both firms have a wealth of experience in residential development across the Yorkshire region.

Robinson Developments is an independent, family-run property developer, based in Saltaire.

It recently completed a development on Wetherby Road - a residential scheme of four luxury family homes in Roundhay, Leeds.

The Gregory Property Group meanwhile, has been responsible for the successful regeneration of several derelict, brownfield sites in the North of England, such as Broad Street Plaza - a £40 million mixed-use development in Halifax

After now seeing success with Hutton Hall, and selling to a point where only two properties were left in early December, the companies have committed to plans for a third phase of development.

This will focus on more spacious homes, with bigger gardens.

Seven of the 11 houses will comprise of four bedrooms.

Some will also feature garages.

Construction is expected to start early in the new year and a fully fitted Show Home is already located on site for potential buyers to view.

Andrew Foggitt, Development Director at Gregory Property Group, commented: "We are delighted to report good sales and a commitment to phase three at Hutton Hall.

"The development has proved popular due to good schools and amenities in the local area, and is well placed.

"It is also well situated for commuting with Apperley Bridge railway station close by and Bradford city centre only a short distance away."

The immediate area boasts several schools including Cavendish Primary School, which is currently rated "Good" in all areas by Ofsted.

Just down the road is another "Good" school, in St Luke's Church of England Primary School, while Wellington Primary - another "Good" school - is an option slightly further afield.

There are also a host of nurseries, as well as secondary schools too, in the vicinity.

Prices for homes in the development so far have started at £165,000 and 60 per cent of buyers have taken advantage of the Government's "Help To Buy" initiative.

John Robinson, Director at Robinson Developments, added: "The new community emerging at Hutton Hall is a mix of first-time buyers, young professionals and families, all from the immediate area.

"The 'Help to Buy' proposition, allowing a deposit of just 5 per cent, has proved to be a major incentive to buyers and we are delighted to commit to phase three."

The new homes at Hutton Hall have been designed to complement the architecture of Eccleshill village while meeting the needs of modern living.

The properties combine a range of traditional and contemporary features, such as open plan kitchen and dining areas, en suite facilities to master bedrooms, gardens and private parking.
