THERE have been four babies born on Christmas Day so far at Bradford Royal Infirmary (BRI).
Three were in the Labour Ward and one was in the Birth Centre.
The Labour Ward Co-ordinator, Heather, said she expects three more to be born before her shift ends at 8pm this evening.
She added: "There will definitely be at least six before the end of the day."
One baby had just been delivered at 2:20pm.
The T&A spoke to Iqra Javed who gave birth to a baby boy.
She decided to call him Abdul-Kagir.
Ms Javed said her new son was actually due on January 4, but had given her a Christmas surprise.
She added: "It's amazing to have him.
"I'm overwhelmed really and over the moon.
"This is my first baby so it's amazing."
