THE academy of St James filled both parents and pupils with Christmas spirit after a thrilling show by the teachers.
Staff took to the stage with one parent saying it was "really nice seeing the teachers being themselves".
Children met reindeers as well as modelling their festive face paint.
A group of parents got together to buy a massive hamper for the much-loved "special teacher" Mrs Louch who helps organise the community events.
Mum Marie Bull told the Telegraph & Argus: "It was really nice seeing the teachers being themselves and showing the kids it can be fun working as a team.
"It also allows the parents and children to feel more connected to the staff and the deserve to have fun as-well it even shows adults have to even work for stuff.
"Would also like to say a big thank you to a special teacher in the school, Mrs Louch. She does a lot for the children and parents. She organises events and gets everything together. A few of the parents got together and made a Christmas hamper for her to show our appreciation for all the help she has done for us and the children."
