A LORRY driver has been praised by police for helping them deal with an incident on the M606 this morning.
Traffic officers said the Premier waste driver blocked one of the southbound lanes of the motorway near junction 2.
They tweeted: "A big thanks to the lorry driver for blocking lane one and providing protection for us whilst @HighwaysYORKS colleagues dragged the car onto the shoulder."
