POLICE recovered a car last night which had been stolen from more than 200 miles away.
Officers discovered the black Audi S4 in the Barkerend area of Bradford.
It was parked in an alleyway, off Sandford Road, and was showing as being stolen from Wokingham, near Reading, back in August.
The vehicle was seized by officers from the Bradford East Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT).
A police spokesperson said: "Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances of this theft and officers will be liaising with Thames Valley Police in due course."
The same team of officers also recovered another suspected stolen Audi that same evening.
This time it was a red Audi A1.
It was located at an address in Halifax, while police were conducting arrest enquiries into two males.
Officers discovered the vehicle had no registration plates and had no chassis number showing.
They recovered the Audi for further examination by the team's vehicle recovery unit.
