PEOPLE have been urged to ensure chimney flues are cleaned and maintained after a fire earlier today.
Firefighters from Rawdon were called to a chimney fire at a property on Greenlea Avenue, Yeadon, just before 5pm.
A West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue spokesperson said it was more than likely caused by debris building up in the flue.
The fire was contained and had not spread.
They spent around an hour at the scene.
