POLICE have officially confirmed the body found on Tuesday is that of a missing pensioner.
Force divers searching the River Calder two days ago discovered the body of a man.
This was while searching for 81-year-old Colin Vasey, who had been missing for a month on that day.
His family were informed but formal identification had not taken place, at that point.
A police spokesperson said today: "Formal identification has now taken place and it is confirmed to be Colin Vasey.
"West Yorkshire Police would like to thank all those who helped in the search for Mr Vasey."
