Wrestling fans in West Yorkshire will have a chance to meet WWE Superstar Rusev when he visits the Argos Leeds Headrow store on Saturday to meet customers.
The meet and greet will take place between 15:30 and 17:00. As spaces at the event are limited, fans will need to collect a wristband from the store from today to guarantee their place.
Weighing in at 304lbs, Rusev is a three-time WWE United States Champion. Known as the ‘Bulgarian Brute’, Rusev is a crowd favourite who was unbeaten for nearly a year following his debut year in WWE. The Superstar made a point to not just defeat his opponents, but “crush” them.
At the event, Rusev will be on hand to sign a range of Mattel Wrekkin’ Toys including the WWE Wrekkin’ Performance Centre Playset. The toy is inspired by the WWE training center where Superstars workout and hone their skills. The playset features three destructive areas including a backstage gym area, collapsible scaffolding, a breakaway sign, and collapsible ring. All Argos customers can benefit from 20% off this and other selected WWE toys2 between this Wednesday and Tuesday 12 November, with an additional 20% off the discounted price with the code TOYS20.
Attendees can post their selfies from the event on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #ArgosWWE to be in with a chance to win a WWE toy bundle.
Andrew Hartley, Toys Buying Manager at Argos, said: “WWE toys have always been a firm favourite at Argos. We’re thrilled to welcome Rusev to our Leeds Headrow store and give our customers the chance to meet one of the WWE’s biggest Superstars. Watch out Leeds…. the Bulgarian Brute is on his way!”
- A limited number of wristbands will be available from the collection counter at the Leeds Headrow store on a first-come, first-served basis. Maximum of two wristbands per person.
