Shipley Street Arts Festival (SSAF) has brought the best of British street theatre to Shipley over the weekend.
The festival, now in its sixth year, featured walkabout acts and shows in Market Square as well as flowery acrobats.
This year’s SSAF follows a theme of ecology and the environment. All the acts were inspired by nature, gardens and the plants and animals around us.
Visitors cruised down the canal on the Bee Lovely Boat Trips where they made bee friendly seed bombs and met a professional beekeeper.
Headline acts included the Veg Nannies by Yorkshire based company Plunge Boom, a team of acrobatics from Urban Angels and Slow-Lympics - a tale of two snails who dream of adventure and excitement.
Scott Vipond-Clarke, assistant creative director for Q20 events, said: “It’s about giving something back to Shipley. It’s about having fun and enjoying Shipley.
“The acts we bring in are very high quality. There’s always something to see.
“We have a theme each year. Last year was the circus.”
