A NEW exhibition all about Peter Rabbit is coming to Bradford this summer.
The exhibition at Cartwright Hall in Lister Park, Manningham, will feature rarely seen original illustrations and early manuscripts by Beatrix Potter from The Tale of Peter Rabbit.
It will be in Bradford from May 18 to September 8, with an interactive exhibition and a range of activities and events for both young and old taking place throughout the summer.
Phil Barker, assistant director of sport and culture at Bradford Council, said: “Beatrix Potter and her beautifully illustrated books have transported children over the generations to an imaginative world amongst the animal characters that she created.
“The Tale of Peter Rabbit is one of the bestselling books of all time and we are thrilled to be able to bring another high profile exhibition to Bradford.
“The programme of events and activities across spring and summer are sure to capture people’s imagination.”
Entry to the exhibition will be £3 per person, with children aged two and under going free.
