THE opening date for the Kirkgate Shopping centre's newest store has been revealed.

The new Boyes store, which sees the store move from its old home in North Parade into the centre, will open its doors to the public for the first time at 9am on Friday, May 3.

Kirkgate Shopping said there will be free giveaways on the day to celebrate the opening, which follows the recent opening of new anchor store TJ Hughes.

Boyes stocks a range of products, from discounted homewares and DIY products, to toys, clothes and more.
