AN exhibition celebrating some of Bradford’s biggest creative talents will open at an art gallery tomorrow.
We are West Yorkshire: Bradford People will run at Cartwright Hall Gallery in Manningham from Wednesday until September 22.
The exhibition features artworks and social history items from Bradford Council’s collections, all portraying people of the city.

The exhibition refers to such figures as the Bronte Sisters and David Hockney, and will include a selection of watercolour Bradford street characters and dignitaries of the Victorian period by acclaimed artist John Sowden.
The exhibition is part of a series of displays in galleries across West Yorkshire, including in Castleford, Halifax, Huddersfield and Leeds.
