A BRADFORD co-operative cafe and work space is hoping to become more accessible through a 'Pay it Forward' scheme.
Bread + Roses on North Parade has now launched a crowdfunding campaign for the initiative. This is where someone can pay for a hot drink or meal for someone who can't afford one.
The cafe has been piloting the scheme so their customers can pay for food for others when they visit. This has been successful, but demand is growing .
It's hoped £700 can now be raised to provide 140 hot meals or 350 drinks for people who wouldn't normally visit the cafe.
They will be working with homeless street outreach teams, local asylum seeker and refugee groups, food banks and others.
Maryn Johnston, manager at Bread + Roses, said: "We hope people who follow us will support the initiative and we are working with various charities to get the word out to the right people."
