PLANS to introduce waiting restrictions on Idle Road will be scrapped.
Last year a scheme to introduce new traffic regulations near the former QED building in the Bolton area were proposed by Bradford Council due to issues of cars parking on public footways and other traffic issues around the site.
The scheme was one of several approved by the Council’s Casualty Reduction Partnership.
Proposals for new parking restrictions at Euroway Trading Estate scrapped
The Council’s Bradford East Area Committee will meet on Wednesday to discuss a number of traffic measures, and members will be advised to abandon the Idle Road plans.
A report to the committee report says: “Following an internal meeting with the police, enforcement and diplomacy was considered to be the way forward regarding parking issues on Idle Road.”
