REVISED bus timetables are being introduced from Saturday, February 23, with some services being introduced, some restricted and some being withdrawn altogether.
Among the new services being introduced are a half-hourly 612 from Bradford to Shipley via Five Lane Ends and extra services for the 675 from Bradford to Shipley Glen.
Of the services being withdrawn is the 253 from Bradford to Dewsbury.

A lot of the other amendments are to improve punctuality.
From Saturday, February 23
253, Bradford-Cleckheaton-Dewsbury. Operated by Arriva. This service will be withdrawn. The morning school journey between Dewsbury and Mirfield Grammar School will now operate numbered MG1. Most sections of route are covered by alternative services.
256 Brighouse-Cleckheaton-Hunsworth-Bradford. Operated by First/Arriva. A revised route and timetable will be introduced. Some journeys will be withdrawn.
268/268A, Bradford-Cleckheaton-Wakefield. Operated by Arriva. A revised route and timetable will be introduced with all journeys renumbered 268. A 15-minute frequency will operate on Monday to Saturday daytimes with minor changes to evening and Sunday times.
283, Dewsbury-Batley-Bradford. Operated by Arriva. A revised timetable will be introduced with improved timings between
Bradford and Tong Street with services 425 and 427. Towards Bradford this service will omit Batley Bus Station operating instead via Commercial Street, Upper Commercial Street and Blakeridge Lane. Towards Dewsbury it will operate along Bradford Road into Batley Bus Station.
200, Leeds-Birstall-Cleckheaton-Heckmondwike. Operated by Arriva. This new service will replace the 220 and 222. It will operate every 30 minutes during the day between Leeds and Cleckheaton every day. It will serve West End in Gomersal rather than service 255. The section of route between Gomersal and Heckmondwike will now be provided by new service 251.
201/201A, Leeds-Heckmondwike. Operated by Arriva. These new services will replace the 221 and 223 between Leeds and Batley, continuing to Heckmondwike via the existing 229 route through Healey. Service 201 will operate every 30 minutes, Monday to Saturday, daytimes and an hourly service operating evenings and Sundays. Carlinghow Lane will now be served by new service 271.
209/X29, Heckmondwike-Leeds. Operated by Arriva. These services will be withdrawn. Service 229 will provide an improved service every 15 minutes Monday to Saturday daytimes from Heckmondwike to Leeds via Leeds Old Road, Birstall, Gildersome and Gelderd Road.
220, Leeds-Cleckheaton-Huddersfield. Operated by Arriva. This service is replaced by new service 200 between Leeds and Cleckheaton and by new service 228 between Huddersfield and Cleckheaton, with off-peak Monday to Saturday journeys continuing to Brighouse via Walton Lane and Clifton Common.
221, Leeds-Heckmondwike-Mirfield. Operated by Arriva. This service is replaced by new service 201 between Leeds and Batley, new service 271 between Batley and Heckmondwike via Carlinghow Lane and new service 261 between Heckmondwike and Mirfield via Norristhorpe and Kitson Hill Road, Mirfield.
222, Leeds-Heckmondwike. Operated by Arriva. This service is replaced by new service 200 between Leeds and Gomersal and by new Monday to Saturday off-peak service 251 between Birstall and Gomersal.
223, Leeds-Heckmondwike-Mirfield. Operated by Arriva. This service which mainly operates evenings and Sundays, is replaced by new service 201A which will now operate between Leeds and Batley, then via Healey to Heckmondwike. There is a limited Monday to Saturday evening service between Heckmondwike and Mirfield via Norristhorpe on new service 261, however the Sunday service will be withdrawn.
225, Brighouse-Clifton-Cleckheaton. Operated by Arriva. This service will be withdrawn due to low patronage. New service 228 will replace this route with some journeys between Brighouse and Cleckheaton.
228, Huddersfield-Cleckheaton-Brighouse. Operated by Arriva. This is a new Monday to Saturday daytime service replacing service 220 between Huddersfield and Cleckheaton, continuing off-peak to Brighouse via Walton Lane and Clifton Common.
229, Huddersfield-Heckmondwike-Leeds. Operated by Arriva. A revised route and timetable will be introduced. The service will operate direct between Birstall and Heckmondwike via Smithies Moor Lane and Leeds Old Road, omitting Batley. There will be a 15-minute service between Leeds and Heckmondwike continuing every 30 minutes to Huddersfield Monday to Saturday daytimes. Passengers from Batley may use new service 201, 201A for Leeds whilst Bradford Road customers may change at Birstall for Leeds by using service 283.
251, Heckmondwike-Birstall. Operated by Arriva. This new service will operate hourly Monday to Saturday off-peak replacing service 222.
252/254/254A, Dewsbury-Heckmondwike-Cleckheaton-Leeds. Operated by Arriva. A revised route and timetable will be introduced with journeys on service 252 renumbered 254A.
255, Halifax-Scholes-Cleckheaton-Leeds. Operated by Arriva. A revised route and timetable will be introduced. West End, Gomersal will now be served by service 200 rather than the 255.
261, Heckmondwike-Norristhorpe-Mirfield. Operated by Arriva. This new service replaces service 221 and the section of service 253 via Kitson Hill Road, Mirfield.
271, Heckmondwike-Batley. Operated by Arriva. This new service replaces services 221 and 223 between Batley and Heckmondwike via Carlinghow Lane.
X25, Brighouse-Cleckheaton-Leeds. Operated by Arriva. A revised morning timetable will be introduced whilst the afternoon journey from Leeds is withdrawn due to low patronage.
X29, Heckmondwike-Leeds. Operated by Arriva. This service will be withdrawn, replaced by additional journeys on service 229.
From Sunday, February 24
72, Bradford-Leeds. Operated by First. A revised timetable will be introduced with additional Sunday journeys at 0704 between Bramley and Leeds and 0710 between Bradford and Leeds.
259, Brighouse-Cleckheaton-East Bierley. Operated by TLC. A revised timetable will be introduced with some journeys withdrawn.
576, Halifax-Queensbury-Bradford. Operated by First. A revised timetable will be introduced to improve punctuality
607, Thornton-Four Lane Ends-Bradford. Operated by First. A revised timetable will be introduced.
612, Bradford-Five Lane Ends-Shipley. Operated by First. This is a new daily service operating half hourly between Bradford and Shipley via Five Lane Ends replacing some journeys currently numbered 613.
613/614, Buttershaw-Bradford-Thackley-Shipley. Operated by First. A revised timetable will be introduced to improve punctuality.
620, Haworth Road-Bradford-Bierley. Operated by First. A revised timetable will be introduced.
645, Buttershaw-Odsal-Bradford-Greengates. Operated by First. A revised timetable will be introduced.
649, Shipley-Baildon-Esholt. Operated by Yorkshire Tiger. On weekdays, the 1453 journey from Shipley to Baildon, Garsdale Crescent will be withdrawn due to severe congestion around Hoyle Court Primary School and Baildon CofE Primary School, and low patronage.
671, West Bowling-Bradford-Five Lane Ends-Thorpe Edge. Operated by First. An additional journey will be introduced at 0940 on Monday to Fridays between West Bowling and Bradford.
675, Bradford-Shipley-Shipley Glen. Operated by Yorkshire Tiger. On weekdays, an additional journey will run from Shipley to Shipley Glen at 1500 and the 1526 Shipley Glen to Bolton Woods journey will run 14 minutes earlier for Titus Salt School. Some other afternoon journeys will be retimed by a few minutes.
676, Bradford-Shipley-Cottingley. Operated by TLC. On weekdays, the 0600 Bradford to Shipley journey will no longer extend beyond Shipley to Cottingley and the 0710 Shipley to Bradford journey will run 10 minutes earlier throughout.
680, Bradford-Heaton-Bradford Royal Infirmary-Cottingley-Bingley. Operated by First. An additional journey will be introduced at 0930 on Monday to Fridays between Bradford Royal Infirmary and Bradford.
From Friday, March 1
N9, Leeds-Heckmondwike-Cleckheaton. Operated by Arriva. This service replaces the current late night 229 and is extended to Cleckheaton.
From Monday, January 28
35, Leeds-Greengates-Thorpe Edge. Operated by First. A revised timetable will be introduced. Monday to Saturday daytimes there will be an hourly service beyond Greengates to Thorpe Edge and a half hourly service to Greengates.
