THE streets of Bingley will once again be transformed into Bethlehem for the town’s annual Nativity event on Saturday.
The annual Christmas event is organised by the town’s All Saints Church, and regularly attracts hundreds of spectators.
The Nativity starts at the Myrtle Park bandstand at 2pm before moving through the town centre.
On the way, people dressed as the Three Wise Men, Shepherds and Mary and Joseph will act the first Christmas.
Previous years have also involved live donkeys and sheep.
The event will also feature a choir and carols sung as the story plays out.
This weekend will also see the story acted out on the streets of Haworth as part of the village’s annual Nativity weekend. Haworth’s two Nativity walks start at 2pm on Saturday and Sunday at the bottom of Main Street.
