A police motorway interceptor driver got an unexpected Christmas bonus when a wanted driver gave him the perfect excuse
Dashcam video released by PC Martin Willis on social media shows the car zooming past his marked BMW X5 on the M62 near Brighouse before accelerating up past 100mph.
When PC Willis stopped the car he found the driver was already wanted by police.
Strong winds, rain, surface water and spray... then someone zips past your marked X5 and then accelerates to over 100mph! Driver dealt with for speeding and also turned out to be wanted. #fatal4 #RoadSafety #slowdown #DriveSafe #motorwaymartin pic.twitter.com/TyHhNGHvFd

The collar was a highlight of an eventful weekend for PC Willis who, as "Motorway Martin", is gaining a cult following on Twitter for posting dramatic pictures and videos.
In the early hours of Monday he stopped two more speeding drivers going at over 90mph in less than ideal driving conditions.

This vehicle passed my marked X5 on the #M62 and then continued on in front of me at a constant 90mph for approximately one mile. The driver seemed surprised that I stopped him! #SlowDown #roadsafety pic.twitter.com/nVZS9xBKv2
