THE Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Zafar Ali, is inviting everyone to join him for this year’s carol service.
The event will take place at Bradford Cathedral on Monday at 6pm and is hosted by Cllr Ali.
The Very Reverend Jerry Lepine, The Dean of Bradford, will be leading the service.
Carols and hymns will be sung by the Bradford Cathedral Choir, with other music being provided by The City of Bradford Brass Band.
There will be a collection to raise money for the Lord Mayor’s Appeal and Bradford Cathedral, but entry is free.
It is traditionally attended by civic and business leaders from across the city, as well as students back for the holidays and city workers before they go home for the evening.
The Lord Mayor said: “I am really looking forward to this year’s Carol Service and would like people from across the district to join me as we get into the festive spirit.”
