A MAN will go on trial next summer accused of making and possessing more than 100 indecent images of children.

Carl David Holt, of Harrogate Road, Eccleshill, Bradford, appeared at Bradford Crown Court on Friday and pleaded not guilty to three counts.

The 23-year-old was firstly charged with making three indecent photographs of children between September 2, 2014 and September 20, 2017.

He was also accused, in a separate count, of making a further nine indecent images over the same period of time and also possessing images of children.

The court heard he allegedly had 103 prohibited images of children on his computer when police seized it and looked at the hard drive.

Holt, who appeared in the dock wearing a black jacket, smart trousers, a white shirt and red tie, spoke only to confirm his name and to deny all the charges when they were read out to him by the court clerk.

His Honour Judge Neil Davey QC told Holt his trial will take place at Bradford Crown Court on Monday, June 11, and is expected to last for two days.

He was bailed until the morning of his trial.
