A GROUP founded by a Keighley man to promote leadership amongst British Muslims will welcome the chief executive of Barnardo’s to its next dinner.
Javed Khan will address the Professional Muslim Institute (PMI) on Friday, November 9.
PMI was founded by Highfield resident Javed Bashir. Mr Bashir said: “Javed will address an audience of more than 100 Muslims on how they can play a role in eradicating child-grooming.
“He’ll inspire young professionals on how they can reach the highest level within their organisations and contribute to wider society.
“We’re privileged to have him attending. He’s one of the leading professional Muslims in the UK and a positive role model.
“We need people like him to inspire young professionals to achieve their full potential.
The dinner is at Anams Restaurant, in Bradford. To book a place, or for details of PMI, e-mail pmiukorg@gmail.com or call 079834 11008.
