GREGGS celebrated its newly relocated Bradford Kirkgate shop with the help of the Lord Mayor, Councillor Zafar Ali, who officially opened the shop.

The shop has been refurbished as one of Greggs’ new look outlets, offering customers a contemporary food-on-the go experience and providing seating for those who wish to eat inside the shop. The team from the original store will all be relocated to the new shop.

Diane Smith, shop manager at Greggs Bradford Kirkgate, said: “We are thrilled to open our doors in this new location and to hear what the local community thinks of our new-look shop.”

Roisin Currie, retail and people director for Greggs, said: “We’re delighted to be able to invest in Bradford by providing our customers with a modern and convenient upgraded shop in this new location.”

Shop opening times are 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10am – 4.30pm on Sunday. Greggs said its Balanced Choice range includes a selection of sandwiches, pasta salads, soups, drinks, porridge and fruit - all for fewer than 400 calories.

Catherine Riley, Centre Manager at Kirkgate Shopping, said: “We are over the moon that the opening of the new Greggs store received such a positive response amongst our shoppers. We look forward to its continuing success and sampling more delicious treats – especially with the Christmas range to be soon revealed.”
