POLICE have seized a sign from a traffic light beggar who "is not homeless."

Officers spotted the man at a traffic light junction in BD3 on Sunday morning.

The beggar was also wanted on a warrant.

A police spokesperson said: "He has been arrested and will be attending court."

The sign read: "Homeless. Please help. Change or food. God bless you. Thanks."

This comes just over a week after a man posing as homeless was caught begging in Bowling and Barkerend for the second time.
