FIREARMS units had to stop a vehicle yesterday evening that had previously failed to stop for police elsewhere.
The black Mercedes was seen travelling at 115mph on the M606 by Bradford patrol officers.
The vehicle failed to stop for officers a few months ago, but a roads policing unit and two firearms units were able to halt the car in Leeds.
A police spokesperson said: "Bradford officers sighted it at an excessive speed on the 606 and asked traffic to assist stopping it in case it decided to make off again."
The spokesperson added: "No arrests were made, but three occupants were detained and searched."
The vehicle has been seized and recovered with further enquiries being made to establish ownership of the car.
