The crashed Peugeot
A DRIVER was lucky to escape with only minor injuries this morning after they crashed into a bus stop.
The single vehicle crash, in Highgate, Heaton, involved a blue Peugeot 107, with two white go-faster stripes, at around 7.50am.
It had crashed into a bus stop in Highgate, sustaining serious damage to the front nearside of the car.
West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit tweeted: "Car v Bus Shelter, fortunately only slight injury to the driver."
The bus shelter appeared to be relatively undamaged following the crash
