The seized BMW
A DRIVER who was stopped by police for using his phone behind the wheel had his car seized yesterday after he was found to be committing a number of other offences.
The driver was spotted in his blue 3 Series BMW in Spencer Road, Lidget Green, at around 2pm yesterday by police officer Sam Johnson on his phone while driving.
Mr Johnson tweeted that after a check on the vehicle, it was also found to be uninsured.
He said that the car was stopped in Spencer Road with help from the Roads Policing Unit, and the man was also found to be driving without a licence as well as no insurance, and his car was seized by police.
