A HOMELESSNESS awareness event is to be hosted at Bradford City’s stadium next month.
The club, and homeless charity Centrepoint, are inviting people to take part in the Sleep Out Bradford at Valley Parade on Thursday, November 22.
The event, taking place at the stadium for the second time, aims to give an insight into the struggles of sleeping rough and raise funds for charity.
Centrepoint supports 150 homeless young people aged 16-25 in Bradford every single day by providing accommodation and teaching life skills.
Registration for the event costs £20 with a fundraising target of £200.
All funds raised at the event will be used to introduce the Centrepoint Sport Training Centre Programme in Bradford, which uses street football to improve emotional wellbeing.
The event takes place from 7.30pm.
