PART of a busy city centre street has been closed off today as filming for the latest adaptation of Agatha Christie’s Poirot continues in Bradford.
Kirkgate, at the junction with Bank Street, was partially closed as a huge crane and filming equipment took centre stage in the middle of the road.
The street was closed to cars, allowing only pedestrians to pass close by.
ABC Murders is being filmed at City Hall, and also various locations around the city, with stars John Malkovich and Rupert Grint in town.
The filming in the city centre is taking place next to the Bradford Club.
The Club is a historic and exclusive Victorian Gentleman’s Club with a history dating back to its origins in 1761.
The Club’s historic features make it a popular venue for weddings, functions and also filming.
David Wilson, director of Bradford UNESCO City of Film, said: “Bradford has a good film reputation going all the time.
“We’re delighted to get talent visiting and not just as a one off.”
