ASIAN Life, the glossy magazine published by the Telegraph & Argus, was tonight named magazine of the year at the 02 Yorkshire Media Awards, held in Leeds.
The monthly magazine, originally launched a Bradford Life two years ago, celebrates Asian lifestyle and culture throughout West Yorkshire.
Since July 2016 the magazine has gone from strength-to-strength and is now firmly established in the market, read and enjoyed by thousands of people every month.
Telegraph & Argus editor Nigel Burton said: "Tonight's win is testament to the dedication of the team who work so hard to give readers the best Asian lifestyle magazine every month."
The award, which was presented by BBC Breakfast's Louise Minchin, was accepted by the magazine's chief feature writer Anila Baig, Hussein Kajee, advertising account manager, and Chris Barnham, niche products manager.
Reporter Felicity McNamara was also runner-up in the community journalist of the year category for her work on the T&A's Stop The Rot campaign.
