Telegraph & Argus, Monday, September 19, 1960:
T Wall and Sons, the largest Ice Cream company had opened its new depot on Hall Lane, Bradford. The new building with its modern spacious construction and bright colour scheme was very different from the old one in Queensbury. In fact, everything about the new depot was new, even the giant air blast cold store with its ultra-modern compressors had been made sound-proof to cut down on any noise pollution. This was especially important during the peak summer months when the fully refrigerated blue and primrose vans, were being loaded night and day to distribute ice cream to hospitals, parks, cinemas and hotels around Bradford.
