SNOW has caused traffic chaos in the Bradford district and a total of 134 schools are closed, or partially closed, today.

The district's schools which are partially closed are; Addingham Primary School - until 10am; Beckfoot Heaton Primary Academy - until 10am; Christ Church Church of England Academy - until 10am; Crossley Hall Primary School - 10am; Eastwood Community School - 10am; East Morton CE Primary School - until 10am; Frizinghall Primary School - until 10am; Grove House Primary School - 10am; Harden Primary School - 10am; Holybrook Primary School - 9.30am; Holycroft Primary School - 10.30am; Ingrow Primary School - until 10am; High Crags Academy - 10am; Idle CE Primary School - 10am; Long Lee Primary School - until 10am; Menston Primary School - until 10am; Oasis Academy Lister Park - the Academy is closed to Years 7 - 10 but open to Years 11 -13; Oastler's School - closed to learners due to bad weather and cancellation of transportation. School is open for staff as normal.

St Walburga's Catholic Primary School - 10am; Stanbury Village School - 10am; Thackley Primary School - 10am; The Academy At St. James - open at 9.45am; Thornbury Academy - 10am; Victoria Primary School - open at 10am and Westbourne Primary School - open at 10am.
Tracks PRU is closed to students due to the PTS service not running. Home tuition is running only if it is safe for staff to travel. Additional notes: The main site is open to all staff if it is safe for them to travel.
Meanwhile, Education In Hospital One at Airedale General Hospital and Education in Hospital Two at Bradford Royal Infirmary have both shut today.
Bradford College has announced it will be shut for a day. A statement from the college said: "The College can confirm that we have made the decision to close. The weather has worsened and staff and students are struggling to get into Bradford and our campuses.
"The David Hockney Building will remain open until noon today, with cafe and hot drink facilities available during this time.
"Please take care travelling, check for updates and keep an eye on the forecast and public transport providers.
"We will update our website and social media channels by around 7am with updates for Thursday 1st March."
The University of Bradford's planned Cantor Lecture tonight, on "Materials for the 21st Century: What will we dream up next?" has been cancelled.
The lecture was due to take place at 6pm tonight and will hopefully be rearranged for later this year.
